Symmetrical and Asymmetrical patterns

In these graphs, we wish to explore the bidirectional association between pairs of disorders.

For instance, it appears that Bulimia nervosa often leads to Binge eating disorder, while the opposite is not true. We call it an asymmetrical phenotype.

Other phenotypes are symmetrical: Agoraphobia does not lead more to Nicotine dependence than the opposite. (Have a look.)
